Top 20 Songs of 2009
This is my top 20. I chose this not by my own taste but by the number of times i heard on the radio and the popularity it had withing the population of people. I looked on google and used other sources such as AOL to get an idea of what they had on their top 10, 20 or 100 songs of '09. I also used my opinions on the songs i've heard overall this year. Happy New Year!! I'm looking forward to making a '10 top 20 songs next December.

No I didn't choose this song because I heard it in Mr. Murphy's class, even though that's what led to my choice. This song honestly is magnificient, this Wilco guy should honestly be the top Artist of '09 even if it's a Woody Award. Why you ask, is this girl thinking so well of Wilco... Well your answer is because she was blown away at the fact that this underground artist was underground with this amazing record. Mr. Murphy, thank you sooooo much for making this one of our logging songs.

The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz

I read this book called The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz earlier in the year. I liked the book a lot not only because it talked about the Dominican Republic, but because it had good details and explained everything that the man's family lived. They talk about the times where the Dominican dictator Trujillo was around. Trujillo did many bad things. He had girls that he deflowered. Young girls in specific and also Oscar lived many things in his life =. His sister ran away and was sent to Dominican Republic, his mom had met a guy that she basically used only for intercourse. His entire life he spent fat. When he was a senior in high school he was fat and still a virgin. He met a girl that left him for another guy. He liked this girl that smelled like pee and even she didn't like him.
In the Barnes and Nobles review of the book the readers rated it a 4 out of 5 stars and over 20,000 people have bought it. See for yourself if you don't believe me!
