I read this book called The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz earlier in the year. I liked the book a lot not only because it talked about the Dominican Republic, but because it had good details and explained everything that the man's family lived. They talk about the times where the Dominican dictator Trujillo was around. Trujillo did many bad things. He had girls that he deflowered. Young girls in specific and also Oscar lived many things in his life =. His sister ran away and was sent to Dominican Republic, his mom had met a guy that she basically used only for intercourse. His entire life he spent fat. When he was a senior in high school he was fat and still a virgin. He met a girl that left him for another guy. He liked this girl that smelled like pee and even she didn't like him.
